Interview Training and Coaching

Interview Planning

You have an interview for a job that sounds like a great fit for your skills and experience. You've heard good things about the company, and you're excited.

Now what do you do to get ready? What should you do before, during, and after the interview to maximize your chances of getting that job?

Wing it?

Most people think they can "wing it." They think they can just show up, have a conversation with the interviewer, and expect the prospective employer to recognize what a great opportunity they have to hire such a rare talent.

Then they're surprised when the phone doesn't ring after the interview and their chance at that job has vanished.

At ACS

At Austin Career Services, we've dealt with employers for years (in our executive search side of the business) and heard and learned from them what they want to see and hear from job candidates. Candidates who go to interviews unprepared for the experience have a very poor chance of getting hired, especially in the challenging environment that our economy has been in for quite some time.

What to Expect

We teach you what questions to ask in the interview, what questions to expect from the employer, and how to answer them. We teach you what to do and what you should know before you go to the interview, and we give you step-by-step guidelines on how to act while you're there and after you leave. It's not good enough to do just a few things right...you have to get them all right or you'll find yourself starting over and trying to do better next time.

Interviews are too valuable to waste. Separate yourself from the crowd by being ready and confident when you arrive for what could be the start of a great career.

Call us...we can help.
